My research focusses on nearby galaxy evolution studies; particularly the growth and disruption of galactic discs due to internal feedback and external ram-pressure stripping processes. I am particularly fascinated by the multi-wavelength manifestations of a process called galactic fountains (a cyclic process in which gas is ejected out of the disc by powerful supernovae, only to cool and fall back down later) in almost face-on galaxies. Currently, I am using data from ALMA to detect cold, molecular gas in the tails of ram-pressure stripped galaxies falling into nearby, massive clusters.
